The face behind Agri Translation is agronomist and sworn translator Edith van der Have-Raats, MSc, BComn. She grew up on a dairy farm and studied Plant Breeding and Crop Protection at Wageningen University. After graduating, Edith worked in an international business environment as a crop protection regulatory affairs specialist for over a decade. She then became a freelance translator, completed her translation studies and founded Agri Translation.

Edith translates from English and Swedish into Dutch, and she collaborates with native professional translators for the other language combinations covered by Agri Translation. Just like Edith herself, they have extensive translation experience in agriculture and horticulture. Many of them have vocational training and/or work experience in agriculture on top of that. In addition, Agri Translation works with local subject matter specialists and with experienced legal translators for your contracts, privacy statements, etc
